Do you have Jell-o and microwave popcorn in your pantry? Then you can easily make this delicious treat for your family in celebration of National Popcorn Day, January 19th, 2022!

Ingredients:

5 Tablespoons butter

1/4 cup honey

1 3oz package of Jell-o, any flavor you like!

If you have a 6oz Jell-o box in the pantry, just double the recipe for that size box.

1 bag of microwave popcorn (stove-top popped corn works fine too)

Recipe:

1. Melt 5 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 cup honey together in the microwave in 20 second increments. Stir together until they are blended.

2. Pour any flavor of Jell-o into the honey butter mixture, and stir until dissolved into the honey butter.

3. Pop a bag of microwave popcorn, and empty into a large bowl. Add the Jell-o mixture on top and stir around to coat all the popcorn in the bowl.

4. Set the oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit and while it is heating up, arrange popcorn on a baking sheet that's lined with parchment paper (for easy clean-up).

5. Bake popcorn for 20 minutes, at 250 degrees, stirring at the 10 minute mark to break-up the pieces that have become stuck together.

6. Let the popcorn cool once it's out of the oven, and then put it into a bowl for sharing. I dare you not to eat it all in one sitting!

Happy Popcorn Day, friends!!
